I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester in 2014 following completion of my specialist Orthopaedic Training in Birmingham. I specialise in complex hip and knee replacement surgery and lower limb trauma.

My specific field of interest is complex total hip replacement surgery, in particular revision hip replacement. I also regularly perform soft tissue hip surgery and knee replacement surgery.

I am one of five revision hip surgeons currently employed by University Hospitals of Leicester and I perform approximately 200 hip replacements and 125 knee replacements per year. I have carried out over 1,000 joint replacements in my NHS and private practice to date in addition to multiple complex lower trauma cases.
