I have a specialist interest in glaucoma and cataract surgery and I perform cataract assessments and surgery, as well as YAG laser posterior capsulotomy.

I perform glaucoma assessment and diagnosis, and tailor management options for an individual patient (medical, laser and or surgery). I offer laser treatments for glaucoma including including selective laser trabeculoplasty, peripheral iridoplasty, YAG laser peripheral iridotomy and G-probe and micropulse cyclodiode laser. I perform surgical treatments for glaucoma including trabeculectomy, bleb needling and bleb revision.

I also have an interest in general ophthalmology and perform eyelid cyst removal.

To date I have performed over 3,000 cataract operations, 4,000 glaucoma and laser procedures.

I have been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and the Glaucoma Lead at The Prince Charles Eye Unit, King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor for seven years. I was the Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology at Prince Charles Eye Unit for two years. My current role includes responsibility for appointing, teaching and training staff within our NHS service.

I have published extensively in peer reviewed journals and presented my work at numerous national and international meetings.
