Mr Nikitas Dimopoulos

I am a Consultant Breast Surgeon with over 14 years of experience in the management of benign and malignant breast disease. My practice covers the full spectrum of breast surgery, with particular interest in oncoplastic and reconstructive techniques. I maintain a busy practice focused on delivering high-quality, safe and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

I specialise in the assessment and surgical management of symptomatic and screen-detected breast disease, including breast cancer and benign breast conditions. My key interests include oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy (including skin-sparing techniques), sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary surgery, and immediate or delayed breast reconstruction. I also have experience in aesthetic symmetrisation procedures and work closely within a multidisciplinary team to deliver truly personalised care.

I maintain a high-volume surgical practice encompassing the full range of breast procedures, with extensive experience in both benign and malignant disease. My regular work includes oncoplastic and reconstructive operations within both NHS and private practice settings.

I actively contribute to departmental and unit governance, participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives within my breast unit.

Alongside my clinical commitments, I am actively and regularly involved in teaching medical students through lectures and clinical placements, supporting the next generation of doctors in developing their knowledge and surgical skills.

I am a member of the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS), the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), and the Hellenic Breast Surgery Society, maintaining close links with international colleagues and contributing to ongoing professional development and collaboration.

My practice is firmly centred on patient-focused care.
