BMBS, FRCS (Gen Surg), FEBS (Endocrine Surgery)
I am a Consultant General and Endocrine Surgeon at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, a major teaching and tertiary referral centre. I completed higher general surgical training in Wales and received specialist endocrine training in Cardiff, with fellowships in Oxford and Lille (France), training with internationally recognised leaders in endocrine surgery. I perform high-volume gallbladder and hernia surgery, both routine and emergency, and am a high-volume endocrine surgeon, providing thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal procedures.
I aim to create a consultation and surgical experience that feels clear, supportive, and focused on your needs, helping you feel fully informed while receiving expert, personalised care.
I have published widely in peer-reviewed journals, delivered presentations at national and international conferences, written multiple chapters for surgical textbooks, and am actively involved in surgical education and training. My research focuses on surgical outcomes, surgical quality improvement, and endocrine cancer care, ensuring that my clinical practice reflects the latest evidence and best standards.
