I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over 18 years of experience helping people regain and protect their sight. I specialise in cataract and premium lens surgery, laser vision correction, and the treatment of corneal, ocular surface and dry-eye conditions, including complex graft surgery. My approach to care is personal and reassuring. I take time to listen, understand each patient’s needs, and explain every step clearly. My goal is to provide safe, effective treatment while ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their care.
I hold consultant posts at Queen Victoria Hospital and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, where I lead corneal and anterior segment services and play an active role in developing high-quality eye care.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists with various roles within the College, and I also serve as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology, Egypt.
With over 60 peer-reviewed publications and thousands of successful operations, I remain dedicated to combining advanced expertise with genuine care – helping every patient achieve the best possible vision and confidence in their eye health.
