I am a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. I qualified in dentistry (Guy’s 1996) and medicine (Wales 2000). After completing my Warwick and Worcestershire basic surgical training rotation (general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, anatomy demonstrating), I completed my higher surgical training on the South Thames rotation (Guy’s, King’s, Guildford, Brighton). I obtained my FDS in 1996, MRCS in 2005 and FRCS (MaxFac) in 2008.
Having worked at three cancer institutes (Guy’s, Royal Surrey County Guildford and Royal Sussex County Brighton), I developed a subspecialty interest in head and neck malignancy and microvascular reconstruction.
