At the Broomfield and Southend Hospitals, I perform elective and emergency benign upper GI and general surgical procedures. I have performed more than 3,000 keyhole gallbladder surgery and more than 3,000 keyhole groin hernia surgeries.

I am an experienced laparoscopic upper GI and general surgeon at the Broomfield and Southend University Hospitals. I have undergone surgical training in various institutes in Kent, Surrey and London.

After working to acquire a Masters in Surgical Practice from the University of Kent, I have been working as an Upper GI and general surgical consultant since 2017 before moving to the Mid and South Essex NHS trust.

I am interested in innovations and quality improvement in surgical practice and minimally invasive surgery, and have published numerous publications in peer reviewed journals.

In addition to my clinical work, I am involved with formal and informal teaching of junior doctors and medical students from Kent and Medway and Essex.
