I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty interest in Foot and Ankle surgery. I provide comprehensive care for a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, offering both surgical and non-surgical treatment options tailored to patients of all ages and activity levels.
I specialise in the management of foot and ankle presentations. My areas of expertise include: sports injuries: fractures, sprains, ligament and tendon injuries, ankle instability, osteochondral defects, ankle arthritis, hind and midfoot arthritis, achilles tendinopathy, achilles rupture, plantar fasciitis, bunions (hallux valgus), big toe arthritis (hallux rigidus), rheumatoid arthritis, deformity correction, lesser toe deformities: claw, hammer, and mallet toes, cavovarus deformity, flat foot (pes planovalgus), morton’s neuroma, diabetic foot conditions: charcot’s neuroarthropathy, ulceration, and infection.
My clinical expertise encompasses percutaneous tendon and ligament repair, arthroscopy, joint replacement (arthroplasty), fusion procedures, and minimally invasive osteotomy. These techniques are evidence-based and aimed at delivering effective outcomes with reduced recovery times.
I graduated in 2013 from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery. I undertook specialist orthopaedic training in the North West of England, with focused Foot and Ankle placements at several BOFAS-accredited centres, including Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital, and Wrightington Hospital.
In 2023, I was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), and in 2024, I became a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS). Following the award of my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), I was selected for the prestigious BOFAS Fellowship at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. There, I further honed my expertise in ankle arthroplasty, advanced arthroscopy, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
I have extensive experience in the management of both Orthopaedic trauma and elective presentations.
