I have been awarded multiple fellowship awards by the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (UK) and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. This enabled me to train with world class surgeons in Brussels and Lyon (Dr Hugo Vanerman and Professor Obadia) to facilitate my expertise in mitral valve surgery. I have been invited to speak about the benefits of Mitral surgery and Minimal Access techniques on a national level. I was recently invited to Mount Sinai in New York to further my mitral expertise.

I live and work in Brighton. I have a young family and after spending much of my life in the Northeast, I am enjoying exploring the south coast. My main hobbies outside of work are swimming and cycling. I worked as a doctor at the 2011 World indoor Track cycling championships and have spent much time in the French Alps.Back to top
