I have been practising as a General Surgeon since 2017, after which I pursued advanced training and a competitive fellowship to specialise in oncoplastic breast surgery. In 2023, I completed a master’s degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery with Distinction from the University of East Anglia, further strengthening my academic and surgical foundation in this field.
I have been working as a Consultant Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital since 2021, where I work within a busy unit and manage a diverse caseload. My combined background in surgical oncology and plastic surgery allows me to offer safe and effective cancer treatment, with particular attention to aesthetic outcomes. Furthermore, my experience of working in different healthcare systems have provided me with broader clinical perspective, ability to manage cultural differences and better patient-centred care.
In my day-to-day practice, I assess and manage a broad range of breast conditions, including new breast symptoms in women and male breast concerns such as gynaecomastia. I perform routine and complex surgeries, including tissue flap procedures, revision operations, and implant-related surgeries. I also play an active role in the management of hereditary breast cancer risk, including BRCA gene carriers, using a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach.
I offer a full spectrum of surgical treatments for benign and malignant breast disease tailored to individual needs, body shape, and personal preferences. My expertise includes, skin- and nipple-sparing mastectomy, therapeutic mammoplasty, local chest wall perforator flap reconstruction, and a range of options following mastectomy, including implant-based and autologous latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction. I also provide cosmetic breast procedures such as augmentation, reduction, uplift (mastopexy), and male gynaecomastia surgery. In addition, I perform excisions of skin lesions, skin cancers, and other soft tissue lumps.
To date, I have performed over 3,000 operations, including more than 1,500 breast procedures. These include hundreds of mastectomies, lumpectomies, and axillary operations, over 50 breast reconstructions, and around 100 cosmetic procedures.
Alongside my clinical work, I am a keen educator. I regularly teach surgical trainees and resident doctors and serve as faculty on Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses and FRCS preparation courses. My academic work includes several publications in peer-reviewed journals on general and breast surgery. I have been actively involved in service improvement projects, such as improved day case rates for breast procedures at Frimley, through a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and multimodal analgesia.
I am well known for my kind and empathetic approach, and I strive to ensure that patients feel heard, supported, and involved in their treatment decisions.
