I am a Consultant ENT and Thyroid Surgeon with over 20 years of specialist experience. I currently work at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where I am the Clinical Lead and Head and Neck Cancer Lead. I specialise in thyroid surgery, the diagnosis and management of ENT cancers, as well as a wide range of adult and paediatric ENT conditions. I am known for providing clear, compassionate, and patient-centred care, ensuring every treatment plan is tailored to the individual.

I specialise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of a wide range of ENT conditions. My key areas of expertise include thyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery (including parotid and submandibular glands), and the diagnosis of head and neck cancers. I also specialise in the assessment and treatment of neck lumps, balance disorders, vertigo, and nasal and sinus disease, including endoscopic sinus surgery. In addition, I manage common and complex paediatric ENT conditions.

I have been practising as an ENT specialist for many years and have performed thousands of procedures covering a wide range of ENT conditions. My experience includes both general ENT surgery and complex Thyroid and head and neck operations, with consistently excellent outcomes.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the GIRFT (Getting It Right First Time) lead for ENT at the Countess of Chester Hospital, supporting service improvement and quality of care. I am also a clinical supervisor, involved in the training and development of junior doctors, and an appraiser for consultant and junior colleagues, helping to support ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
