I have been a Consultant Gynaecologist for 13 years and have extensive experience in colposcopy, the management of vulval disease and minimally invasive surgery.
I specialise in general gynaecology, with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, including ovarian and tubal surgery, hysterectomy, the management of endometriosis, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, vulvoscopy and vulval surgery.
To date, I have performed over 300 hysterectomies for benign conditions and early uterine malignancy, achieving a 75% minimally invasive rate, with no conversion to open surgery in the past three years. I have also carried out more than 500 procedures to treat cervical lesions and nearly 100 procedures to excise benign and pre-malignant vulval lesions.
I run community gynaecology clinics across Birmingham and am a company director on developing innovative solutions that promote a holistic approach to women's health and complement NHS services.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Fateh Ghazal at Spire include:

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling along the canals in Birmingham and the Black Country, as well as hiking - having completed the three peaks. I also enjoy swimming and dancing, particularly the Dabke, a traditional Levantine folk dance.
