As an experienced Consultant Oncoplastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Breast Surgeon, I carry out diagnostic one stop breast clinics and a full range of breast surgery, including oncoplastic breast conservation, perforator flaps, mammoplasties and implant breast reconstruction. Oncoplastic surgery allows the most effective treatment for breast cancers, whilst preserving cosmetic and functional outcomes wherever possible.
Accredited by The Royal College of Surgeons of England, in Cosmetic Breast Surgery, I also undertake breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy (uplift), implant exchange and gynaecomastia surgery. I also have specialist skills and undertake surgery for skin cancer and soft tissue lumps.

As the Lead Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, one of the few National Oncoplastic Training Centres, I am proud to have trained numerous surgeons, many of whom are now consultants in the region. I continue to regularly teach on Basic Surgical Skills and Advanced Breast Disease Management Courses run by the Association of Breast Surgery and The Royal College of Surgeons.
I completed my medical degree from The London Hospital Medical College, University of London. I have always been interested in cancer surgery, and as part of my higher surgical training at University College London, I was awarded a master’s degree for my novel research into Gene Therapy for the prevention and treatment of cancer.
I am currently the Clinical Lead/Head of department for Breast Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust which I have been for over 15 years. I chair and lead the weekly Breast Multidisciplinary Team meetings with the wider group of cancer clinicians.
I continue to be the Wessex Breast Lead and Chair for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight region and am a Trustee and elected to sit on the National Council for the British Association of Surgical Oncology.
