Specialises in
Having qualified in 1994 I worked in the NHS for seven years including two years as Head of Orthotic Services in North Glamorgan NHS Trust. In 2001 I decided to work exclusively in the private sector with a focus on elite sport. In the last 15 years I have worked closely with many elite sports organisations/companies including The WRU, ECB, Puma and a number of Premier League Football Clubs. I have been a Consultant Podiatrist to the Emirates Airline based in Dubai for the last three years.
While I specialise in sports injuries, I can assess and advise on the full spectrum of lower limb injuries/pathology. I have special interests in assessing the dynamic foot, orthotic therapy, toe nail surgery under local anaesthesia and sports injuries.
While I now practice exclusively from Spire Cardiff Hospital, I retain my responsibility for a number of premier league football clubs, professional rugby clubs and enjoy the innovative work with the Emirates Airline in Dubai.
In addition to my clinical work I am proud to be a visiting lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
My Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) number is CH12370.
