"Spire Montefiore offers exceptional facilities and a supportive clinical team, allowing me to deliver the highest standard of trauma and limb reconstruction care."
Specialises in
My limb reconstruction practice covers deformity correction, non-union management, limb lengthening for discrepancy and stature, using both internal fixation and external circular frames to deliver bespoke, patient-centred treatment.
My clinical interests include trauma (all aspects) and limb reconstruction.
My other treatments include bone defects, fractures, limb reconstruction and malunion. I have pioneered the clinical use of bone transport nails for segmental bone defects and am currently the highest-volume surgeon worldwide for this treatment. My practice integrates bone transport with limb lengthening where required, offering early weight bearing for patients undergoing treatment for bone loss.
As Regional Educational Lead for Trauma and Limb Reconstruction (Kent, Surrey & Sussex), I oversee teaching, curriculum design and training for surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
I have a strong interest in global health and charitable surgical work in low- and middle-income countries. As part of the GAMMED team, I undertake bi-annual missions to The Gambia, supporting local services in limb reconstruction, with a focus on neglected fractures, bone defects and deformity correction, emphasising sustainable skill-sharing and capacity building.
