I am a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where I hold a substantive post and perform elective foot surgery. I was appointed as an NHS Consultant Podiatric Surgeon in 2022. I trained under dual tutorship at leading podiatric surgical centres in the United Kingdom. My training also included advanced courses in surgical reconstruction and tendon transfer techniques in Italy, Greece, Switzerland, and Germany. Prior to my appointment as a Consultant, I completed a Clinical Fellowship at one of Europe’s largest trauma centres.
I specialise in adult reconstructive surgery of the forefoot, midfoot, and superficial rearfoot. I also perform ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided injection therapy as part of the non-operative and interventional management of foot and ankle conditions.
I am a registered surgical tutor and actively involved in training the next generation of podiatric surgeons. I am an Honorary Lecturer at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, and have presented at both national and international conferences. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and lead research projects at national and international levels. I have a strong interest in foot and ankle research and completed a HEE/NIHR Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Nottingham.
I am committed to clinical excellence and evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on clinical governance and continuous professional development. I am the Co-Chair of the regional NHS Foot & Ankle Governance Meetings, where I play an active leadership role in maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. I regularly attend international conferences and undertake advanced surgical skills training to ensure my practice remains at the forefront of evidence-based foot surgery.
