BSc (Hons)
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2020 after graduating from The University of Salford with a 1st Class Honours Degree. Upon completion, I focused my interest and practice towards musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Having played professional and semi-professional football over the past 15 years, I have experienced numerous sporting and common MSK injuries from muscular tears & tendinopathies to ligamentous injuries including Anterior Cruciate ligament reconstruction, all of which have developed my understanding of rehabilitation and the patient’s physical and psychological journey through injury.
I enjoy treating a broad spectrum of upper limb, lower limb, and spinal pathologies, whilst having a keen interest towards shoulder and knee pathology. Adopting a modern-day approach to practice, I utilises patient education, empowerment, and participation in patient-centred rehabilitation to help with understanding and compliance.
I am also skilled in hands on based therapy and I am qualified Sports massage therapist. Now managing the Physiotherapy team at Spire Fylde Coast, driving clinical excellence is at the heart of our objectives to help improve patient outcomes and experience.
