I specialise in minimal access (robotic and laparoscopic) general and colorectal surgery and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust in June 2018. I have trained at leading units in Liverpool and Manchester and completed my specialist training at the prestigious National Intestinal Failure Unit, Salford. I was also a visiting fellow at The Comprehensive Hernia Centre, Cleveland Clinic, USA.

My clinical interests are:

  • Fistula (anal/ colovaginal / colovesical)

  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Laparoscopic colorectal surgery (benign and malignant disease)
  • Pilonidal disease
  • Proctology – fissures, hemorrhoids

  • Botox injection and advancement flap for anal fissures
  • EPSiT (minimally invasive treatment) for pilonidal disease
  • Endoscopy – flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy

  • THD for hemorrhoids
