Miss Lucy Hope

I have been a qualified physiotherapist for 4 years working initially in the NHS as a community physio providing rehabilitation for a variety of long term conditions before joining the Alexandra in 2023.

At the Spire Alexandra I work as both an inpatient physiotherapist on Copperfield ward and an outpatient MSK physiotherapist.

As a inpatient physio the focus is on post operative rehab ensuring patients are safe to return home and are provided with the advice and exercises to begin their initial rehabilitation journey. I also run a joint school to provide pre operative advice and exercises to patients prior to having a knee or hip replacement.

I treat a variety of different musculoskeletal conditions ranging from post operative rehab to new patients diagnosing and then creating a rehabilitation program to help the patient achieve their goals. I have a special interest in sports injuries stemming from my competitive athletics background and enjoy rehabbing a patient back to their full potential. I use a variety of skills ranging from manual therapy, shockwave and acupuncture to advice and education with tailored home exercise programmes.
