Specialises in
I'm an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Endometriosis Specialist with a particular focus on advanced minimally invasive surgery, especially for the excision of endometriosis. My clinical interests include endometriosis, adenomyosis, and pelvic pain. heavy and unscheduled menstrual bleeding, fibroids and uterine pathology.
My clinical interests also include ovarian cysts, advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery and pelvic ultrasound scanning. I see private patients at Spire Bristol Hospital, alongside my NHS work at North Bristol NHS Trust, where I co-lead our Tertiary Endometriosis Centre (British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy BSGE accredited) - a nationally recognised high volume hub for the care of patients with complex endometriosis.
I completed a prestigious and highly competitive fellowship in Endometriosis Care and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists accredited) in a nationally recognised BSGE Endometriosis Centre. This training equipped me with the skills to manage a wide range of complex benign (non-cancerous) gynaecological conditions using the latest minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic surgery.
In additional to my clinical work I am a passionate educator and advocate for high-quality laparoscopic training. I sit on the BSGE national laparoscopic training committee and I am actively involved in the teaching of future gynaecological surgeons regularly contributing to regional, national and international training courses. I am also the Severn Advanced Training Module Preceptor for the Management of Complex Non-Malignant Disease, overseeing the development of specialist trainees in this field. I present at numerous professional conferences and contribute to research, with publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
What matters most to me is providing care that is truly patient-centred, collaborative, and compassionate. I strive to connect, listen carefully, to thoughtfully advise, hold complexity with clarity and, when necessary, intervene with skill, elegance, and precision. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, and I serve with presence, integrity, and humility.
