I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Minimal Access Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in women’s health. I specialise in the diagnosis and surgical management of endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and menstrual disorders, offering advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic treatments.

I co-lead the Leeds Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Centre, one of the largest multidisciplinary services of its kind in the UK, providing expert care for complex pelvic pain and advanced endometriosis.

My practice is centred on patient-focused, evidence-based care, offering holistic management of women’s health issues from reproductive age through to menopause and beyond, including personalised hormone replacement therapy and menopause care.

I specialise in the management of a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions, with a particular focus on endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and menstrual disorders. I perform advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and excision of complex endometriosis, aiming to minimise pain, scarring and recovery time.

I also offer gynaecological ultrasound, outpatient hysteroscopy and comprehensive menopause care, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and management of peri- and post-menopausal symptoms.

My practice covers women’s health from adolescence through to menopause and beyond, offering both surgical and non-surgical options tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Over the course of my career, I have performed hundreds of advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of complex gynaecological conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts and menstrual disorders.

I have extensive experience in laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, excision of deep endometriosis and ovarian surgery, as well as outpatient hysteroscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures. Within my NHS practice at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, I co-lead one of the UK’s largest Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Centres, working with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, patient-centred care for women with pelvic pain and endometriosis.

My approach combines surgical precision with compassion, aiming for effective symptom relief, faster recovery and improved quality of life.

In addition to my clinical work, I hold several national and regional leadership and academic positions. I am the NIHR Specialty Research Lead for Women’s Health in Yorkshire and Humber, supporting the development of clinical trials and research in gynaecology.

I am also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leeds, actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and postgraduate trainees. I serve as an RCOG College Tutor and sit on the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Council, where I contribute to national training in laparoscopic surgery.

I regularly present at national and international conferences, and I am currently Chair of the Organising Committee for the 2025 BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting in Leeds. My wider work focuses on advancing surgical training, improving access to women’s health research, and promoting excellence in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.
