Virtual consultations:
I have had extensive training in all aspects of rheumatology and general internal medicine. I see paediatric patients from the age of 16 years and above.
After reading medicine and completing my medical degree (MBBS) with a first class, I undertook my postgraduate medical training in various teaching hospitals in the North West of the UK (2001-2005) and was awarded membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 2005. I subsequently undertook higher specialist training in rheumatology and general internal medicine in London and South East England. This had included three years training (2008-2011) at the Academic Research Unit at King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital London. During this period, I was awarded an MSc in rheumatology from King's College London. I successfully completed the specialty certificate examination for rheumatology in 2011 and was awarded the post nominal MRCP (UK) (Rheum).
I have been working as a consultant in the NHS since 2011 and have a great interest in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
I am the LFG lead and Royal College tutor for medicine and have a keen interest in postgraduate medical education.
