I am a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician with over 25 years of dedicated service across multiple subspecialties, including paediatric emergency medicine, general paediatrics, paediatric haematology, and paediatric oncology. I am recognised for delivering kind, compassionate and evidence-based care as well as leading multidisciplinary teams in complex clinical environments.
I have clinical expertise to manage acute and chronic paediatric conditions, from emergency presentations to long-term paediatric, haematology and oncology care. My experience in diverse healthcare systems and patient populations helps me to adapt care to varied cultural, social, and resource settings.
Having held various leadership positions, I have trained junior doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals, fostering excellence in clinical practice and education. I have also played a pivotal role in enhancing paediatric haematology and oncology pathways improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
I follow a holistic care approach by being committed to family-centred care, ensuring clear communication and support for patients and their families during challenging treatment journeys. I care for children from birth to 18 years of age.
I specialise in general paediatrics, but have a wealth of expertise in paediatric haematology and oncology. In particular I have specific interest in red cell, platelet and clotting abnormalities.
As a paediatrician, I have decades of experience managing children with acute illnesses, respiratory illnesses eg; bronchiolitis, asthma, constipation, allergies etc. I also manage babies with reflux, cow's milk protein allergy and faltering growth.

I am a kind, compassionate and friendly paediatrician. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and a visit to the seaside. The biggest pleasure of my life has been to be the mother of my two children, who are as different as chalk and cheese.
