Dr Rena Ohri

General Practitioner

MBChB (Hons), MRCGP, DFSRH, DCH, DRCOG, PGCAP, FHEA

I qualified from the University of Liverpool with honours in 2005 and undertook my hospital training in the Wirral. I have been practising as a GP since 2011.

I use a personable and caring approach; placing great emphasis on tailoring care to meet the specific needs of each patient.

I cover all areas of General Practice including mental health, men’s and women’s health (including smears, family planning and contraceptive advice). Medical forms can also be completed upon prior request.

Alongside my clinical work, I work as a clinical teacher and lecturer at the University of Liverpool Medical School. In addition, I am involved in examining, exam writing, and interviewing for medical school admissions. I also sit as a Medical Judicial Office holder for HMCTS.

Furthermore, I hold a Board Member position with the RCGP Mersey Faculty and also serve as the GP representative on the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) at Spire Murrayfield Hospital.

I love my career as a GP as well as my involvement in teaching at Liverpool Medical School.

Away from work, I enjoy going to the gym; especially the end of my work-out where I relax in the spa!

I am also partial to a bit of baking, cake decorating and needlecraft but my overall enjoyment lies in retail therapy!
