I am a highly experienced Consultant Geriatrician with over 20 years of expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of age-related conditions. I completed my specialist training in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine in the West Midlands. I currently hold NHS consultant posts at Rotherham General Hospital and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield. I also see private patients at Spire Claremont Hospital.

I provide holistic, consultant-led care with particular expertise in memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and TIA, osteoporosis, dizziness, falls, frailty, and complex medical problems in older adults. My approach goes beyond treating symptoms — I focus on identifying the root causes of cognitive and functional decline, taking into account physical, emotional, and social factors.

My private service includes comprehensive geriatric assessment (including medical history, cognition, investigations, medication review, and functional assessment); holistic diagnosis (identifying reversible causes and addressing complex or mixed conditions); personalised management plans (including treatment advice, lifestyle guidance, medication changes, support systems, and future planning); and clear, written reports shared with the patient and their GP.

I offer timely access to care, with appointments available within 24 hours either at Spire Claremont Hospital or in the patient’s home.
