I have over 20 years of experience in General Paediatrics. I specialise in looking after children with heart conditions including children born with various heart defects. I am passionate about providing holistic care to children by involving their families. I see children with problems of chest pain, palpitations, murmurs, in addition to other common childhood problems such as constipation, headaches, asthma, abdominal pain etc.
I am passionate about supporting education and research in Paediatrics. I run point of care ultrasound course' for paediatric trainee doctors. In addition, I have also published articles to improve education of Paediatric doctors. I currently lead the education of medical students placed in Paediatrics at East Surrey Hospital.
I have been a Consultant Paediatrician and lead for paediatric cardiology for the last eight years at East Surrey Hospital. I also work as a honorary consultant at Royal Brompton Hospital. I trained in paediatrics across various hospitals within London including Kings College Hospital, Evelina Children's Hospital and St Georges Hospital. I pursued Paediatric cardiology at Bristol Children's Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital. I have completed a special interest module recognised by RCPCH in Paediatric cardiology.

I am accredited with the European Academy of Cardiovascular imaging to perform echocardiograms in children.
I am the Clinical Governance Lead for the department of Paediatrics as well as lead the training of medical students from St Georges Hospital posted in Paediatrics at East Surrey Hospital.
