Virtual consultations:
I am a Consultant Cardiologist, currently working within the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. I have held my current NHS post since 2017. Since March 2025, I am also the lead cardiologist for the department; having been the departmental Lead for Echo since 2017. I am highly specialised in all aspects of cardiology, with a special interest in advanced imaging (Echo, stress echo, Transoesophageal echo and cardiac CT). I also see patients in a private setting at Spire Bushey and Harpenden Hospitals.
I completed my basic medical training in North London at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Trusts, as well the Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals (Royal Free Hospital NHS trust) – obtaining my membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. My subsequent training in general cardiology and advanced imaging was in East of England, at District General Hospitals and Essex cardiothoracic centre. During my training I undertook a research degree which was funded by the Research council UK (Dorothy Hodgkin Post Graduate award). My research examined the ethnic differences in markers of subclinical atherosclerosis using cardiac imaging (Echo, Cardiac CT, perfusion imaging as well as biomakers). I was awarded an MD by Imperial College London.
I am an active researcher, presenting my findings at national and international conferences. I still publish regularly in medical journals. I am also an educator, training registrars in specialist cardiology techniques as well as teaching on advanced CT courses. I am a member of professional organisations including the Royal College of Physicians, British Cardiovascular Society, European Society of Cardiology, British Society of Echocardiography, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, and British Heart Valve Society.

Most of my time outside work is taken up by my young family, though I enjoy music and sports. I am trying to get back to running in my bid to be fit!
