I have been a Consultant Cardiologist with special interest in cardiac electrophysiology and device implantation for seven years. I have a breadth of experience in all aspects of arrhythmias including outpatient ambulatory monitoring for diagnosis of arrhythmias, Electrophysiology studies and cardaic ablations for arrhythmias (including cases with electro-anatomic mapping), implantation of pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy, programming of defibrillators and epicardial Ventricular Tachycardia ablation.
To date I have performed close to 800 cardiac ablations and 1,000 cardiac devices in the time I have been a trainee and a consultant. I also have expertise in Inherited Cardiac Conditions and support the development of this service in Hull University Teaching Hospitals. I am now part of an established team for Inherited Cardiac Conditions at Hull and manage the arrhythmia side of things.
I am also a local principal investigator and participant for some international clinical trials at Hull University Teaching Hospitals and am the Joint Clinical Lead in Cardiology at HUTH.
I specialise in all aspects of cardiac rhythm management: OP ambulatory assessment with cardiomemo, holters kardia mobile devices etc, management of device therapy in those with defibrillators, interpretation of ECG, Exercise testing, Clinical correlation with cardiac imaging.
In addition, we are now in the process of setting up Conduction System Pacing in my NHS practice and this will soon be available at Spire once we have established practice in the NHS.

I am the Joint Clinical Lead for Cardiology at Hull University Teaching Hospitals.
I am the Consultant in charge for the trainees rotating through Cardiology at Castle Hill Hospital.

In my downtime I like to spend time with my family and like to travel. I am an accomplished musician and regularly perform Indian Classical Music at various venues around United Kingdom. I also teach vocal music to children in the Hull and East Riding Area.
