Specialises in
I have been a Consultant Dermatologist since 1998, after training in cancer medicine then subsequently training in dermatology in Sheffield. I have the higher degree (MD) for a thesis on allergy. I am a national expert in male genital skin disease.
I have an interest in skin cancer and male genital skin problems.
I have a keen interest in teaching both nationally and internationally. I have published two textbooks and have written dozens of research articles on a wide range of dermatological conditions such as contact allergy, hand dermatitis, antibiotic resistance and quality of life in elderly people with skin disease.
I operate on all areas of the body to remove benign and malignant skin lesions. I do not offer cosmetic advice. I work closely with plastic surgeons where skin lesions need more extensive surgery.
I have carried out thousands of operations over my career. I operate nearly every week.
I do not treat severe acne requiring Roaccutane, hair or nail problems.
