My other special clinical interests include atrial fibrillation, young person stoke, mini-stroke (TIA) and stroke, post stroke seizure, migraine and stroke, cognitive problems (including dementia) in older adults, stroke and non-stroke aetiology. 

I completed my clinical registrar training in the south east and then moved to the north as a research registrar (Darlington Memorial and University of Newcastle) and finished senior registrar training in the Mersey region in 2000. I was appointed as a consultant physician at Medway Maritime Hospital in April 2000.
