I am a Consultant Radiologist at Spire Harrogate Clinic. I bring 13 years of dedicated experience as a consultant musculoskeletal radiologist, providing expert diagnostic imaging across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Working closely with my orthopaedic colleagues, I contribute to effective multidisciplinary decision-making and streamlined patient care. I specialise in musculoskeletal and sports imaging, using the array of cutting-edge equipment available to me at Spire Harrogate Clinic I am able to provide accurate and rapid MRI, ultrasound and x-ray diagnostic examinations.

I provide a comprehensive image-guided therapeutic service designed to deliver precise, effective treatment for a wide range of joint and soft-tissue conditions. My fluoroscopic (X-ray) guided steroid injections target hips, shoulders, elbows, and wrists, offering accurate placement and reliable symptom relief. I perform shoulder hydrodistension for frozen shoulder, restoring mobility through targeted capsule distension, and carry out barbotage procedures to treat calcific tendonitis of the shoulder. For patients with persistent Achilles tendon pain, I offer high-volume saline injections to reduce neovascularity and improve function. My ultrasound-guided practice includes therapeutic steroid injections for knees and small joints, as well as targeted interventions for subacromial bursitis, greater trochanteric pain, plantar fasciitis, and tendon sheath inflammation. Each procedure is delivered with careful imaging guidance to maximise accuracy, safety, and clinical benefit, ensuring patients receive timely, evidence-based treatment tailored to their needs.
