I am a Consultant Geriatrician with extensive experience in caring for older adults. I specialise in comprehensive assessments of frailty, falls prevention, medication review, cognitive and memory assessments, and personalised care planning. I work closely with patients, families, and care teams to improve independence, safety, and overall quality of life. My approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
I specialise in the care of older adults, offering a range of services to support health, independence, and wellbeing. This includes comprehensive geriatric assessments, frailty evaluations, falls prevention and risk reduction, advanced care planning, medication review, cognitive and memory assessments, nutritional assessments, and delirium management. My focus is on providing personalised care plans that address each patient’s unique needs and help them live safely and confidently.
To date, I have assessed and managed thousands of older adults in both hospital and outpatient settings, helping to prevent falls, optimise medications, and improve overall health and independence. I have extensive experience in comprehensive geriatric assessments, frailty evaluations, cognitive assessments, and personalised care planning. I work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care for older adults with complex health needs.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the Lead Clinician for Falls and Education in the Care of the Elderly Department at Bedfordshire Hospitals. I am actively involved in training and mentoring junior doctors and healthcare staff in geriatric care, falls prevention, and frailty management. I also provide specialist consultations for community teams, helping to optimise their health, medications, and overall wellbeing.
