Having specialised in cardiology since 1995, I completed a medical doctorate in clinical research (hypertension and heart failure) and have trained in Interventional Cardiology at the University Hospital of Geneva.
I work between Forth Valley and Edinburgh in general Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology where I have an international reputation in complex PCI. I have one of the largest experiences worldwide of dealing with complex coronary disease and have performed live case demonstrations in major meetings throughout the world (www.incathlab.com). I have helped to develop and introduce several innovative techniques designed to help patients with complex coronary disease that previously have not had options.
As part of developing these techniques I have published many articles and regularly run courses around the world to teach physicians on the identification and treatment of coronary disease. I am delighted to receive referrals Internationally for the assessment and treatment of these patients. In addition I have expertise in the treatment of hypertension and the management of cardiomyopathy.
