Following the completion of my training in coronary intervention at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, I have been working as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Bristol Heart Institute since April 2020. My expertise is focused in the field of Interventional Cardiology.
I perform coronary angioplasty, including complex interventions (left main, bifurcations) and I am also specialise in intra-coronary imaging (Optical Connective Tomography - OCT and Intra-vascular Ultrasound - IVUS). Moreover, I perform coronary physiology studies, including comprehensive assessment of the coronary micro circulation.
I have developed a specialist interest in the management of patients with refractory angina and recently I have introduced the coronary sinus reducer device at the Bristol Heart Institute.
In addition to interventional cardiology, I have a broad experience in general cardiology, managing the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease.
