MBBS MRCGP BSc (HONS)
I am a highly experienced portfolio GP with over 10 years’ post-qualification experience, having worked across NHS primary care, urgent care, secondary care and the private sector. I am comfortable assessing and managing new, complex and acute presentations, as well as long-term conditions and preventative health concerns.
I practise as a generalist GP and enjoy the breadth that comes with this role. While I don’t have a narrow specialty focus, I particularly enjoy women’s health and dermatology, and I value being able to support patients with whatever concerns they bring to an appointment.
I am used to making safe, autonomous clinical decisions across face-to-face, telephone and remote consultations, and I aim to provide clear, thoughtful advice that patients can trust.
I enjoy working as a private GP because it allows me to spend more time with my patients. Having longer appointments means I can listen properly, explore concerns in more depth and work collaboratively with patients, which I feel enables me to do a better job and provide more personalised care.

Outside of work, I live with my family and enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly walking with my cocker spaniel in Northumberland or the Lakes. I value close-knit friendships and try to bring the same warmth, balance and attentiveness into my clinical practice.
