MBChB, MD, FRCP
I have been a Consultant Dermatologist since 2010, working at the Bristol Dermatology Centre since 2018. I offer specialist care in managing a wide range of acute and chronic inflammatory skin conditions as well as skin cancer.
I lead the Cutaneous Allergy Service, providing patch testing to investigate and diagnose allergic contact dermatitis. I also run rapid-access skin cancer clinics and perform skin surgery for treatment and management of skin cancer. My specialist interests include eczema, vulval dermatoses, hidradenitis suppurativa, and contact dermatitis.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Birmingham University Medical School in 1998 and following my general medical training, completed my specialist training certificate in Dermatology from the Northern Deanery. I was also awarded an MD from Newcastle University.
I am committed to professional development and am a member of British Association of Dermatologists, Royal College of Physicians, British Society of Cutaneous Allergy and British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease. I am committed to medical education and frequently teach trainee doctors in my day-day work and have also been invited to speak at national meetings for dermatologists and GP training events.
I am an elected member of the British Society of Cutaneous Allergy (BSCA) committee and member of the local skin cancer multidisciplinary team and have been part of the tertiary centre vulval multidisciplinary team.
I am deeply committed to delivering personalised care, treatment, and patient education—tailored to each individual—to improve quality of life for those affected by skin disease.
