I am a Consultant Gynaecologist based at The Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, with a focus on pelvic ultrasound, diagnosis of common gynaecological conditions, and minimally invasive treatment.
I offer a transvaginal pelvic scan performed by me during your visit, so you can get a clear understanding of your condition, discuss results with me personally, and start treatment promptly if needed.
My clinical practice focuses on outpatient and minimally invasive procedures, including hysteroscopic and laparoscopic care for common gynaecological conditions.
I am actively involved in training and teaching, accrediting gynaecology trainees locally in pelvic ultrasound. I am also a lead instructor on the BSGE GESEA programme, where I train and accredit gynaecologists nationally and internationally in advanced minimal access surgical skills. I am certified by the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) Group, recognised internationally for assessing ovarian cysts on ultrasound.
My approach is personalised, patient-centred, and efficient, combining imaging with minimally invasive interventions whenever treatment is needed.
