I have been an NHS Consultant Medical Oncologist since 2007. I am an expert in the use of systemic anti-cancer therapy for the treatment of colon cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer and mesothelioma. I have been caring for private patients for over 15 years.

I pride myself in providing my patients with the most effective care for their cancer. This is achieved through ensuring that each patient receives a personalised approach that guarantees access to the best Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy. As important as delivering the best treatments, I prioritise supporting the emotional needs of my patients at all times.

All patients with a cancer illness should be able to benefit from the many advances in the treatments that are now available. Modern cancer care is based on a personalised approach through molecular profiling of an individual’s cancer.

This makes sure that each and every patient gets the most effective treatment for their cancer through the use of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Through my specialist interest in colon cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer and mesothelioma all of the patients under my care can be confident that they will receive the best treatments and therefore the best outcomes. At Spire Leeds Hospital this will be further enhanced through support from a highly skilled team including a dietitian, psychologist, complimentary therapist, specialist nurse and chemotherapy nurses.

I take pride in offering each patient with bowel cancer, lung cancer or mesothelioma a personalised treatment plan that guarantees access to the most effective treatments. In addition to chemotherapy this also includes the use of targeted therapies such as Avastin (bevacizumab), Erbitux (cetuximab) and Zaltrap (aflibercept) in bowel cancer and Xalkori (crizotinib), Iressa (gefitinib) and Tarceva (erlotinib) in lung cancer. This commitment to an individualised approach to patient care ensures the best possible outcomes for my patients.
