I am a consultant dermatologist in Bristol with 21 years’ experience. I have been the clinical lead in Bath and more recently at North Bristol NHS Trust for 13 years.
I do assess patients for skin cancer providing simple biopsies and excisions and will refer patients to plastic surgery colleagues requiring skin cancer surgery. I do not offer aesthetic dermatology consultations or a surgical service for removal of benign skin lumps and bumps.
My clinical interests are broad though I specialise mainly in medical dermatology, such as rashes, psoriasis and eczema, for example.
I have a particular interest in acne and some years ago co-authored a book on acne. I have published many peer-reviewed articles in the medical literature.

I live in Bristol and spend most of my free time with my young family enjoying playing a variety of sports, including swimming, golf and tennis. I am a keen photographer and am currently learning to use editing software for photographs and video.
