I am a highly accomplished Consultant Gastroenterologist renowned for his expertise in complex gastrointestinal and liver disorders. After graduating with Honours, I completed my advanced specialist training in the United Kingdom at internationally renowned centres, including St Mark’s Hospital (The National Bowel Centre) and Hammersmith Hospital. Awarded a scholarship for scientific excellence, I hold memberships with the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, British Society of Gastroenterology and the American College of Gastroenterology.

My practice is defined by advanced clinical skill and a steadfast commitment to personalized, patient-centred care.

My clinical focus includes the comprehensive and multidisciplinary management of various gastrointestinal disorders such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional gut disorders, pancreatic and liver disease. I am highly skilled endoscopist and I routinely perform both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy), including specialised endoscopic nutritional interventions, utilizing conscious and deep sedation techniques. I also maintain an interest in managing the intricate gastrointestinal complications arising from cancer therapies and systemic diseases.

I have full accreditation from the endoscopy Joint Advisory Group (JAG). I have performed over 6000 endoscopic procedures collectively. I offer endoscopy under conscious and deep sedation.

I specialise in the management of Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, microscopic colitis, Coeliac disease, diarrhoea, constipation, indigestion/dyspepsia, reflux, anaemia, swallowing problems, SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), functional abdominal pain, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), polyps, pancreatic disorders, liver disease and abnormal liver tests.
