I am a Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon specialising in all aspects of hand and wrist surgery, including base of thumb arthritis, peripheral nerve compressive neuropathy such as carpal tunnel, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s disease surgery, and more complex wrist conditions such as arthritis and instability, as well as trauma requiring surgical management.
I specialise in hand and wrist surgery with a focus on conditions such as base of thumb arthritis, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, Dupuytren’s contracture surgery, and complex wrist problems such as arthritis and instability. I also perform surgery on hand and wrist trauma, particularly fractures.
I have completed comprehensive training in hand and wrist surgery, having completed higher orthopaedic surgical training on the Southampton rotation whilst undertaking research and management posts. I have undertaken the prestigious Advanced Training Programme Fellowship at the Birmingham Hand Unit and completed the British Society for Surgery of the Hand Diploma.
I have extensive experience in procedures such as trapeziectomy surgery for base of thumb arthritis, carpal tunnel release, and trigger finger release. I have also been trained in novel techniques such as thumb base replacement and finger joint replacement for arthritis and wrist arthroscopy
