I undertook Higher Surgical training in General Surgery in South West England. After completing my general surgery training, I selected Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery as a sub-speciality of interest. I was trained in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Bristol Royal Infirmary, Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, Hamburg and Paris. Currently I work as a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I offer my services through both Spire Thames Valley Hospital and Surrey Obesity Service Limited.
I offer my patients a full spectrum of bariatric procedures including insertion of gastric balloons, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass. I also offer surgery for gallbladder diseases, abdominal wall hernias, anti-reflux surgery and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.
I have published and presented both nationally and internationally on various topics in bariatric surgery.
