I gained my medical qualification from Cambridge University before undertaking specialist training in Paediatric Surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London; Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh; St Georges Hospital, London and Southampton General Hospital. I specialised in Paediatric Minimally-invasive Surgery as a Laparoscopic Fellow in Edinburgh. I was appointed a Consultant in June 2008 at Bristol Royal Children's Hospital.
