I am an upper limb reconstructive surgeon specialising in surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions (arthritis, inflammation, sports injuries, and fractures). I undertake arthroscopic operations on a number of conditions.
I graduated from the Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital in Bombay where I undertook postgraduate studies in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. I completed a clinical fellowship in hip and knee joint replacement at St Joseph's Hospital at University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. Subsequently, I completed higher surgical training in orthopaedics on the North West Thames Surgical Rotation, based at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals.
I trained as a clinical fellow in hand and wrist surgery at Broomfield Hospital and Addenbrooke's Hospital in 1999. I graduated with FRCS (Orth) which was bestowed by the Intercollegiate Board in Orthopaedic Surgery. I was appointed as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Luton and Dunstable Hospital in 2000 and at present am the Clinical Director of Orthopaedics.
