I treat all shoulder and elbow conditions at Spire Nottingham Hospital. I trained in the East Midlands at the Harlow Wood Orthopaedic hospital, the Derby Royal Infirmary and Nottingham University Hospitals. I am the senior shoulder and elbow surgeon in Nottingham. I successfully led the team that bought the BESS UK Conference in 2014.
I have a particular interest in arthroscopic shoulder surgery and have a broad experience of research and education into arthroscopic techniques. I have been responsible for all orthopaedic training in the East Midlands from 2007 to 2016.

I have extensive research interests in shoulder and elbow surgery. I have published and presented work from the Nottingham Shoulder and Elbow Unit both nationally and internationally.
I live with my wife and three daughters in the Vale of Belvoir, close to the Spire Nottingham Hospital. I have been involved in the county-wide plans for healthcare improvement in Nottinghamshire. I have a particular interest in driving patient experience and patient outcomes as key bench marks of delivery. My family and I relax on the North Norfolk Coast where we enjoy the coastal area and all sorts of outdoor pursuits.
