My practice includes all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT. I specialise in diseases of the neck, larynx, salivary glands, thyroid, sinuses, throat, ears, skin, and airway. I perform thyroidectomy including TORTVA, tonsillectomy (both intracapsular, extracapsular and robotic), adenoidectomy, grommets, ear drum repair, pinnaplasty, sinus surgery, septoplasty, removal of skin lesions, salivary gland surgery, neck dissection, voice surgery, throat cancer surgery, airway surgery, laser surgery, snoring surgery and I treat r-CPD (no burp syndrome).Â
I completed medical school with a distinction at The University of Sheffield. My specialist training was completed in Manchester. I received additional specialist training during a nationally appointed head and neck cancer fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London and have learned from surgeons in New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Melbourne.Â
I am lead examiner for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (ENT section1), the exam that determines suitability to become a consultant in the UK. I also lead robotic surgery for the Greater Manchester Head and Neck team. At Spire Manchester, I am the Lead for Children & Young People and ENT. Additionally, I was the first board-certified surgeon in the UK and Ireland to perform ear surgery for patients under 18.
