Oral and maxillofacial surgery
I have a background in dentistry, medicine and surgery.
As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, my surgical remit includes surgery of the mouth, jaw and face. This includes dental surgery involving the teeth but also for cysts and trauma.
My special interest is in surgery for facial disharmony involving correction of jaw discrepancies. A further interest of mine is in bone grafting of the mouth and jaws, particularly in reconstruction following cleft lip and palate surgery and trauma, and in pre-prosthetic and implant surgery.
Special Clinical Interests: Orthognathic surgery for dento facial deformity, secondary cleft lip and palate, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery for sleep apnoea.

My training involved spending seven years in Hong Kong and I travelled extensively in China.
I have a special interest in the photography of Chinese village life and Asian water villages. In the past, I have played competitive rugby but more recently have been involved in coaching. At the present time, I enjoy watching rugby!Back to top
