I am a consultant hepatobiliary surgeon and have an interest in complex liver surgery. My major areas of clinical interest include the management of hilar cholangiocarcinoma and colorectal liver metastases.
I trained in liver surgery as a visiting lecturer at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong and as a post CCT fellow on the liver unit at Leeds.
I have published widely on all aspects of liver surgery and currently run the out-reach hepatobiliary and pancreatic services in Derbyshire.
I am currently the clinical lead for hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition I undertake a role as a national cancer peer reviewer and was appointed to the Council of the Great Britain and Ireland Hepatobiliary Association (GBIHPBA), where I am the lead for audit and membership.
