I am a consultant urological surgeon. I specialise in functional urology including female urology, neuro-urology and urodynamics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Fellow of the European Board of Urology. My main research interests include the overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, nocturia and urodynamics.
I am a consultant urological surgeon at the Bristol Urological Institute, director of the Urodynamics Unit at Southmead hospital and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Bristol. I graduated from St Bartholomew's and the Royal London School of Medicine in London and trained in Urology in the South West of England. Following that I undertook fellowships in Leuven (Belgium), Leicester and London in female and reconstructive urology.
I am a member of the European Association of Urology Strategic Planning Office, the International Consultation on Incontinence Urodynamics committee and an editorial board member of Neuro-urology and Urodynamics. I have authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters and books, and is a reviewer for several national and international journals. I am an invited speaker to national and international meetings and teach urodynamics both nationally and internationally.
