I am a consultant orthopaedic and specialist knee surgeon. I have been looking after patients with knee problems for over 10 years helping many people get active, get mobile and live pain-free.

I chose to specialise in helping those with knee difficulties because through personal research, I found that if a consultant specialises in one specific area they tend to get better results.

The three key areas I can help you with are:

  • Diagnosing your knee pain, getting to the bottom of what is causing the pain. Arranging investigations such as MRI scans or X-ray and making sure you understand what the problem is and helping you fix it
  • Knee arthritis, diagnosing knee arthritis early and provide non-surgical treatments such as specialist joint injections. Sports injuries, helping you get back to being active again after a cartilage tear or cruciate ligament tear
  • If you require surgery, such as a knee replacement, I will guide you on what procedure is best and will only perform the surgery if I believe if it is the right choice for you. The knee replacement procedures I perform are specialist patient-specific specialist knee replacement surgery, osteotomy or realignment surgery
